GRT Friction Utility Belts

The Friction Utility Belt is the most economical belt for a wide variety of package handling conveyor applications. In three and four-ply no-skim constructions it provides the lowest initial cost while three, four, and five-ply constructions with between ply skims have the widest range of uses still at an economical price. It may also be used to transmit power as a transmission belt on light duty drive equipment. This multi-purpose belt will provide long dependable service and is excellent for roller bed and live roller conveyor requirements.

The Friction Utility Belts are constructed with three and four plies of cotton-polyester fabric with rubber friction only between plies, and in three, four and five plies with both rubber friction and skim between plies for maximum flexibility and ply separation resistance. Both faces of the belt are protected by a friction surface (F.S.) coat. Black is the color of the three and four ply, no-skim belt, and tan color identifies the three, four and five ply skim coated version.
