The
dual performance capability of the Package and Hot Stock & Water
Belt provides long and economical belt life. Its primary function
utilizes a slick, tough, wear-resistant top surface with a low coefficient
of friction. This provides minimum resistance to movement of totes,
boxes, cartons, parts units, or products that must be processed
in transit. It is applicable for stall or accumulation operations
where the unit must remain stationary while the belt continues to
travel beneath the unit. Because of its design, it is frequently
utilized as a hot stock and water belt to transport rubber tires
and associated rubber stock. The secondary function of the belt
is as a package belt with the 35 oz. Silverhard duck surface used
as the smooth and slick bottom cover, sliding easily over slider
bed conveyor equipment.
Reversible for double duty

or 3 plies of cotton-polyester fabric, plus 1 top ply of white 35
oz. Silverhard cotton duck and a high grade black rubber compound.
The top surface is Silverhard duck and the back is protected by
a friction surface bottom. A skim coat is provided between each
ply for flexibility and resistance to ply separation.
