Pebble
top belt is designed for applications in the canning and food processing
industries where incline or decline conveyors are part of the production
line. The light fabric impression surface increases the coefficient
of friction so that packaged foods and other units are carried on
steeper grades than are possible with smooth top cover belts. The
maximum recommended slope is 25 degrees. Pebble Top Belt is resistant
to staining and most oils, greases, acids, chemicals, and moisture.
It is especially suited for conveying packaged meats, fruits, vegetables,
bakery goods, and dairy products. It does not impart any odor or
taste; is non-toxic, and repeated sterilizations have no weakening
effect.
The
belt is manufactured of materials conforming to F.D.A. regulation
(21CFR177.2600), U.S.D.A. - M.P.I.P. accepted.
Applicable for moderate incline or decline conveying of food products
Flexible and light in weight
Excellent dimensional stability

The
Pebble top belt is constructed of two and three-ply lightweight
all polyester fabric carcass and a special vinyl-nitrile blended
compound. The light impression top cover is 3/64'' thick and the
back is protected by a durable friction surface bottom. A skim coat
between each ply provides excellent flexibility and resistance to
ply separation in small diameter pulley applications. The dimensionally
stable all polyester carcass cannot mildew and resists shrinkage
and stretch when operating wet or dry. Standard color is white.
